So we left the collegium and head back to the indian trading post. We gathered up our stuff and we prepared to head back to town. We see a light and dust cloud on the horizon coming towards us. It is some kind of train, laying track ahead of it as it went and picking it up after it passed. it was headed straight for the trading post. We moved away just in case. The train pulled up and stopped and there did not appear to be anyone on the train, but we heard a voice call out “All aboard”. Don’t ask me why but Jake of all people decided to board the train, not wanting to get separated we joined him taking our horses and carriage with us. So we road this train and we were coming up to the outskirts of Denver. We saw a river ahead of us and we were headed towards it and I saw a tunnel form out of nothing ahead of us. The train entered the tunnel and started heading downward. All of the sudden we were falling and found ourselves at the bottom of what appeared to be a mine. There did not appear to be any way out of this hole, except about two hundred feet above us. I healed all the horses who were injured in the fall, along with those of our group who landed poorly. We were trying to figure out how we were going to get out when the Preacher, who was feeling his way around the room disappeared. Jason went after him and he disappeared also. Then their voices called out of the darkness that there was a passage ahead, but once in they could not come back. So we loaded everything up, hooked up the horses and followed this tunnel out. We came out in a barn on the outskirts of Denver. There did not appear to be a way back once we had passed thru, I looked behind the barn and it was not backed up to any thing it was free standing. There were indian ponies in this barn, but no one was around. I found a horse I liked the looks of, but could not find anyone to buy them from, I walked the horse out to try to find someone to buy it from. The barn was next to a hotel so I went into the hotel to find out who owned the horse. The desk clerk said talk to the stable master who showed up about 10 minutes later. The horse had no brand and for a moment I was tempted to just take the horse. He said the pony belonged to room 9, so I went inside and the desk clerk said that was Lt Refered. He was on the 4th floor which had been rented out by a group of cavalrymen, but she did not know which room he was in. So I went upstairs to talk to them and they directed me to the Lieutenants room. As it turned out this was his mount issued to him by the Calvary so he could not sell it to me.
So we headed to the train station to get our seats for the ride to New Mexico. While I was doing this Beau went to the Smith and Robards and purchased an airship, which was fully loaded with all the options as it was there demo unit. Turns out this thing cant land as it cant go that low. So they are talking about buying a building three stories tall in order to have a place to bring the airship in. I suggested buying a piece of land which had a cliff high enough to bring it level with. So they purchase the air ship which they would send on ahead to El Paso. When the train stopped on its way to New mexico, he telegraphed ahead to have the Pilot he hired to fly it to bring it to New Mexico to meet us. So we left Jake’s family and the other Indians in New Mexico while we continued on by airship to Fearsome Arizona. As it turns out, Fearsome is a walled town, so we flew on by to a nearby town and sort of landed there. We climbed down and hooked it to a hitching post, they didn’t like my kind there so I went back up on the airship. The next morning we got up and had breakfast. We walked the couple of miles out to the town and when we got there we knocked on the gates and then entered the town. Before we entered I recast my speak with earth to verify this was the right place and her trail lead inside. We followed it out behind some buildings to an underground bunker or something. We followed the stairs down and it just seemed to keep going. We finally got to the bottom and there were two doors, the tracks lead to the left? door. We opened the door and saw the girl ? strapped to a chair with a barrel to either side. That is where we stopped.
